Text Box: Martine Beswick
The Dancing Queen

Martine Beswick, despite being rather obviously female, was billed as “Martin” in her first credited film role, Zora the Gipsy in From Russia With Love, which featured a vicious catfight between her and Miss Israel Aliza Gur. Beswick returned to the franchise as Bond ally Paula Caplan in Thunderball.

Beswick then played “Nupondi the wild one,” Raquel Welch’s rival in One Million Years B.C., which lead directly to her first headlining role, Kari, slave girl turned wicked queen, in Prehistoric Women.

Later starring roles include Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde and The Happy Hooker Goes to Hollywood.
